I just realized I never posted the full list of places where I ate in San Francisco. I was there in April, (for an IACP conference) and I realize it is now five months past. Better late than never, right?
Although I know that there are lots of better resources than this blog for eating your way through that food obsessed city, I’ve had so many requests for my own personal list that I thought it was worth writing down.
So here is the full list, with only very brief descriptions, because if I have to write more this post will remain forever in draft form. At least I’ve provided links to both my own past blog posts where there is one, as well as the places themselves. I’ve also included a very few delicious photos from the way too many that I took.

In addition to being a market, there are also great food trucks/stands there. Long lines, worth the wait.

Edible Excursions
One of the funnest things I did was tour the Mission district with the wonderfully erudite and fun Sean Timberlake.
There was lots I couldn’t fit into the week I was there. For instance I never made it for Dim Sum which made me sad. And I didn’t get nearly enough cocktail time in.

Amazing pictures. SF is my second fave city after Rome. I am going next month and thanks to this post, I have added to my list of places to try. The choices are almost endless, aren’t they?
great list but too bad not one recommendation from my old neighborhood, northbeach? we used to own a place on Columbus Avenue called “‘Cafe Capri” that had the first Italian wine bar in S.F. …..before all the competition (read Napa/Sonoma) from up north, but now it seems they love Italian Wine again, I think they have a big exhibition there every year? what’s not to love!.
