🇺🇦Giveaway🇺🇦 Like everyone else I’m at a loss about how to help. I’ve donated locally and internationally. And I’ve also been channeling my fears through food and finding hope, as I tend to do, around the table. I’m using my platform here to make it easy for you to donate to one of the organizations that shares my belief that warm food, prepared and given with love, makes a difference. @wckitchen is currently on the ground, providing hot meals to the refugees crossing over into Poland. 👉🏼 What I will do: I’ve donated 50 euros (that’s the max you can donate, but remember that even the smallest amount makes a difference!) If you decide to donate, leave a comment under this post. Next week I will select a ‘winner’ and will donate a copy of my own book, The Italian Table. The photograph above is Mushroom Broth with Sour Gherkins from The Summer Kitchen by @oliahercules who is doing so much to keep us informed and mobilize action. This beautiful book has been an inspiration since I first bought it in 2020, and in these days means more than ever. I wanted to donate a copy of this book to the winner as well, but it is currently out of stock. I’ll be posting the recipe in my stories, but would encourage you to order this book, and wait until it becomes available again. In the meantime, you might make the Mushroom Broth, or another recipe, and perhaps feel a bit closer to those who aren’t as lucky as we are.
