where to eat in torino : new app

August 22, 2016 by Elizabeth 2 Comments

Eat Torino

Who else is going to Torino for the Salone del Gusto and Terra Madre? I am for sure!  And if you’re anything like me then you are probably already thinking about how to fit in as many meals as possible, while also attending one of the most important food fairs in the world.

With all the foodies in the world descending on this elegant city for 5 days at the end of September, you better make your meal plans sooner than later. While most times it’s easy to leave restaurant reservations in Italy until the last minute, Torino during the Salone is no joking matter.

Would you like some help? Maybe a few of my favorite restaurants? With addresses and phone numbers? Well, here it is: EAT TORINO. EAT TORINO  is the newest addition to my suite of apps, EAT ITALY.

EAT ITALY is a free app, and contains guides to Venice, Milan, Rome, Florence , Umbria  And now TORINO!!  The various city guides are available as in-app purchases for both iPhone and iPad.

(To answer your question ahead of time: No. Sorry. No android version. But you can search this blog for lots of Torino reviews)

EAT ITALY Is the result of my years of eating and living in Italy, all boiled down into one handy, nifty app. Don’t go expecting exhaustive. If you want ALL the restaurants in each city there are tons of guide books out there – in English and Italian. The EAT ITALY apps are simply what I think is the best. In other words, these are all places that I go to, love and would send friends to. I’ve edited them all down to a list you can trust.

Let me know below in the comments if you will be in Torino. If there are enough of us, let’s try to organize a meet up. What do you think? Should it be over an Negroni? Or a Bicerin? Or both???

The Salone del Gusto and Terra Madre take place in Torino from September 22-26.

I’ve been to almost all of the Salone over the last 20 years. Here is my most recent blog post, which also has links to all of my previous posts about the Salone, as well as links to some of my favorite restaurants and things to do.

We long to have your apps so please do produce Android versions if you possibly can.

I’m so sorry, but for now no Android version on the horizon.
