Elizabeth, your Fennel and Apple Salad will now be part of our “traditional dishes” for Thanksgiving, so I thank you ever so much! While our international guests (all of whom are temporarily here in Rome without their wives) were more fixated on the heavier traditional sides, Steve and I were happy to munch away on the bright flavors of this salad. And the leftover salad is proving to be a great lunch as I write, taking away any guilt of the accompanying piece of stuffing 🙂

Really? Lovely to know something I posted is now a ‘tradition’!

Happy Thanksgiving to you Elizabeth ! We received a call from our friends in Italy wishing us a good holiday and we have incorporated some of their recipes in our traditional dinner for 17 this year, but tops on our table was the fennel which was in a different form this year. I made your apple and fennel salad which was such a big hit. I look forward to your videos, commentary, recipes and pics. Wishing you continued success !
