the joy of cookbooks – my latest article from the atlantic

    Where have I been? Just found your delightful blog through the leaders of “Italy in Other Words” workshop and am so glad I finally did. I’ll be back to read your posts regularly – The blog is delightful and gives me warm feelings of when I lived in Rome.

    what a fabulous photo! I personally collect vintage wine books. Instead of food stains they have wine stains. It makes me cry to think of how many great wine makers from the past that have passed and I will never drink their wine. Seeing the cookbooks of another is a great way to get to know someone. I don’t trust foodies with pristine cookbooks!!
